First Artefact

Finally got round to posting my first artefact! The idea is to test short term memory using a mix of audio/visual. I have a list of 10 common objects shown using image, text and audio together. Then I have a list of 10 audio words to compare. Participants watch/listen the video/audio trying to remember as many items as possible and writing them down. The idea is to show whether the objects shown with the multi-sensory option will be most memorable.

Artefacts

I have finally come up with a good structure for my artefacts, to ensure that all of the areas I wanted to look at have been tested and researched. These may change along the way but this is the general direction of my research: Artefact one - Something to compare memory test results, a visual and audio task. (pictures/spoken?) Artefact two - Something which tests understanding of information and also whether people can remember key points...going more in depth than artefact 1. Artefact three - Something geared towards kinasthetic learners for example an online dance tutorial or something. Artefact four - Not 100% sure yet, I want to get a professional opinion but don't know if this counts. I need to find information about the behaviour of students etc and downfalls. Artefact five - to round all my research up I want to do a test involving the students at Lindon, seeing as its based on childrens education it would be good to see if my results stay the same.
